By Tom Richardson

The Conway Muse is proud to welcome Levi Ware back to the Hayloft Stage Saturday Oct. 8 at 8 pm.  Advanced Tickets $10 / Day of Show $12.50

Seattle based artist Levi Ware has established himself as an accomplished songwriter, collaborator and musician. No Easy Way, his third studio release, features the single Rise Up. This song was inspired by his work with his music centric non-profit (Melodic Caring Project) founded by Levi and his wife (Stephanie) in 2010. Melodic Caring streams live concerts, with personal shoutouts from artists, directly to critically ill kids and teens in hospital and home-care rooms around the world. This personal recognition provides hope and connection to kids who feel forgotten, helping them through their most difficult days.

The spirit of Rising Up is embodied in this song through its message and the combined voices of Levi, the Blind Boys of Alabama and The Anointed Worshippers coming together from across the country to sing a song of resilience and hope. Produced by Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy).

Levi continues to be inspired by the strength, courage and grace displayed by the kids and families they serve. Rise Up was written in 2019 after years of watching kids get knocked down time-after-time with health crises just to rise up time and time again. Their example of grace during crisis is a standard we can all learn from. To hold true to our beliefs. To take strength from our faith and Rise Up to make each day better, for ourselves and others, is a hallmark of these kids’ lives and an example we should all strive to demonstrate in our own.

Formerly of the bands A Bird of Passage, Vast Capital, (Vocals, Guitar, bass) Levi Ware first gained national attention with now defunct Vast Capital. The band’s first single “What More Else” spent several weeks in the top 50 and 18 weeks in the top 200 on AAA radio earning opening slots for artists such as Pearl Jam, Flight to Mars, The Posies, The Spin Doctors, Quasi Nada, Heart, and Mike Doughty, Train.

Levi has since independently released two albums (Level Yourself, Listen Mr.) with Producer Jon Blackstone and Producer/Engineer Neal Cappellino (Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Mindy Smith, Nickel Creek, Dolly Parton) and toured throughout the US with return stints to Europe.

In 2016 Levi teamed up with Seattle Children’s Hospital nurse, Cassi White (daughter of legendary drummer Alan White: Yes, John Lennon, George Harrison, Joe Cocker) to write and record a song (The War For The Cure) to help children learn about and cope with the early stages of a cancer diagnoses. Alan White was the featured drummer on the song. Levi, Cassi and Alan performed the song (with a band) on local television and radio.

February 2nd 2018 Levi released the single LOVE LOUD. This track was recorded in collaboration with Woodstock and Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame drummer Michael Shrieve (Santana) as a cry for action, inspired by Melodic Caring Project, to support kids battling serious illness.

LOVE LOUD is about creating empathy; it’s about putting aside our differences in favor of our likenesses. It’s about choosing kindness and compassion through our everyday actions.

In 2018, Sam Shrieve (son of legendary drummer Michael Shrieve) remixed Love Loud into a Hot AC pop track featuring the thoughtful and conscious lyrics/vocals of Seattle rapper, Shakiah.
