The Back Room Lit. Lab - will meet again on Thursday, June 6 at 6:30 pm.
Lit Limericks!
Playing with Limericks led by Don Wick. Bring favorite limericks to
share and, with expert Don's guidance, have fun and go wild composing new ones of your own. Rumor has it there may even be a
contest afoot including surprise prize awards! Bring a friend, or ten.
See you there!

A closed-form poem with a light and humorous subject matter
cosisits of five lines
The first four set up the joke
and the final line delivers the puch line

Moderator: Carole Lexa Schaefer - She is  an award winning children's book author.  She has more than 25 books published with others contracted for publication. 

As an educator, as well as an author, Carole is comfortable and experienced in giving presentations of her books and related topics to both children and adults.  In addition to many classroom visits, she has presented to the American Library Association, the Association of American English Teachers, the Conference of Whole Language Teachers, and the International Reading Association.
