Back Room Lit. Lab - The Art, Uses and Joys of Reading Aloud - Professional demonstrations and attendee participation workshop.
The Back Room Lit Lab will meet again on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30 pm. The evening will focus on the Art, Uses and Joys of Reading Aloud. Attendees are encouraged to bring a short written piece to practice with and share. Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation.
February Presenters Include:
Moderator: Carole Lexa Schaefer - She is an award winning children's book author. She has more than 25 books published with others contracted for publication.
As an educator, as well as an author, Carole is comfortable and experienced in giving presentations of her books and related topics to both children and adults. In addition to many classroom visits, she has presented to the American Library Association, the Association of American English Teachers, the Conference of Whole Language Teachers, and the International Reading Association.
